Marinated
BBQ Pork Steaks with Apple Sauce or
Lemon Mustard Pork BBQ Steak with
Apple Sauce.

Product:
Pork Rump Steak / Scotch Steaks
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Marinating Time 20 minutes - 4 hrs
Cooking Time: 4-5 minutes
Ingredients:
4 Pork rump steaks (thick cut ,rind
removed juice & rind of 1 lemon)
1 tblsp olive oil
1 tblsp Dijon Mustard
1 tblsp parsley Chopped
1 cup SPC Apple Sauce for serving

Method:
Pre-heat BBQ , fry pan, griddle pan or grill.
1. Combine the lemon juice and rind, olive
oil, mustard and parsley in a glass bowl
and mix well.
2. Coat the steaks well in the mixture and
allow to marinate for 20 minutes or up to
4hrs turning frequently.
3. To Cook : Place steaks on the pre-heated
BBQ or griddle pan, fry pan or under the
grill and cook for 2 minutes each side (
or until cooked the way you like it ) turning
only once during cooking .
4. Serve with warm SPC Apple Sauce. Delicious
served with barbecued, grilled or roasted
vegetables. |
