Pork Cakes

Product:
APL Pork Mince
Serves: 4 -6
(Makes 16 cakes or 6 large cakes)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
500g lean pork mince
1 tsp Thai seasoning
1 carrot (peeled & grated)
2 tblsp fresh coriander (chopped)
1 x 375g bottle Masterfoods Chilli
& Lime Marinade
300g hokien noodles

Method:
1. Combine the Pork mince , Thai seasoning
, grated carrot, coriander and 2 tblsp Masterfoods
Chilli & Lime Marinade together in a large
bowl and mix well.
2. Shape into small cakes.
3. Panfry in a little oil over a moderate
heat 2 minutes each side . Remove and keep
warm .
4. Heat Noodles as per pack instructions
and drain well . Place noodles in a bowl
and toss with 2 tblsp of Marinade Sauce.
5. Serve 3 or 4 cakes on a bed of warm noodles
and spoon over a little of the remaining
Chilli & Lime sauce and garnish with fresh
coriander leaves .
Note: If making large cakes cooking time
is 6 minutes. Serve large cakes as burgers
or BBQ and serve with salad .
Note: Cakes maybe pan - fried , barbequed
or grilled cooking time may vary depending
upon the size of the patties. |
